The Mr. Molesley Chronicles

Years ago I had a dog which tore it’s ACL. I did not know dogs had ACL’s or that there was a surgery and physical therapy to fix this issue. Of course the Vet I used was not a canine orthopedic surgeon so a specialist was referred. The procedure was explained. Unlike the human ACL which can be repaired, the doggy ACL must be replaced with a nylon strap. Surgery was performed and went well. Physical therapy began a week later. Observing a very stubborn dog with a bum leg go through therapy with a stranger trying to guide this arrogant prima Donna of a pet through the rigors of this was comical to say the least. What was not comical was the bill which was in excess of $5,000.
