Day 8 — #spurgeondoc

Today was an amazing day in a few ways:

We woke up to a dense fog but soon after we started filming the fog lifted and the sun came out.

It was the last day we were filming with Jeremy (our narrator) and he had a lot of ground to cover. Jeremy preformed wonderfully and all the shots that were needed got done!

The Metropolitan Tabernacle opened their doors to us and we filmed some beautiful shots inside and outside Spurgeon’s church.

Spurgeon’s college allowed us to explore some old memorabilia including the pulpit in which the sermon God used to draw Spurgeon to himself was preached.

And finally, the traffic on the way home was minimal! (On our way into London this morning we experienced the full brunt of the London rush hour)

Today marked a milestone in this trip. Most of the filming in England has finished and all of Jeremy’s on-screen footage is done. We are all feeling the effects of going non-stop the past few days. Everyone is tired, but in good spirits. Much has been accomplished and we are looking forward to the second half of this trip! Bring it on!
