Fifty Years on this Planet

Cherry blossom rain

Fifty years on this planet and I still don’t understand. Why is a mystery I once needed to unravel. Now, not knowing is an open road. I don’t know where I’m going, but every morning I put my shoes on, head out the door and trust I’ll end up doing what I need to do.

Fifty years on this planet, and this is what I know:

Fear is a psychic straight jacket.
Worry is a great distraction.
Resilience needs flexibility.
Love heals all wounds.
Beauty is the antidote
to suffering.
To see is everything.
