Remember when LeBron James scored 8 points on 11 shots in an NBA Finals loss to the Dallas Mavericks back in 2011? Or that time he scored only 15 (on 3–14 shooting) in a dreadful 120–88 Conference Finals home loss to the Celtics in 2010? Or the time he went 2–18 for only 12 points in another loss to the Celtics in 2008?

I could dig up similar games for almost any NBA legend. My point is: even superstars have bad playoff games. It happens. Let’s judge players by their body of work, not their occasional stinkers and no-shows. These are human beings. Not robots.
