Our mission is that we will share the Gospel through the love of Christ by our actions and words while interacting personally and on-stage with the hurting and brokenhearted people of Bangalore and Chennai.

Our prayer that we would cultivate bold convictions with a posture that is marked by humility and kindness as we seek to be used in the bigger picture of God’s Kingdom.

For the first part of our trip we will be partnering with a ministry called Rahab’s Rope in Bangalore, India. This Christian organization is focused on the rescue and rehabilitation of women that are involved in India’s human-trafficking market. While at their Bangalore facility, my team will be helping with the aftercare portion of their ministry. We will be teaching classes and interacting with the women, as well as tending to any needs in hospice facilities for women diagnosed with AIDS/HIV. We will also be interacting with the children of women at the facility and working with children in an on-site orphanage. Our hope and prayer during this time is that we would be able to share Jesus’s love and his profound ability to heal the hurt and broken in a fractured world.

For the remainder of our trip, we will be partnering with an Indian missionary and going south to the city of Chennai. During this time we’ll travel to several schools in the area and proclaim the name of Jesus as we teach the gospel! Our hope and prayer during this time is that the name of Jesus would continue to spread from the schools to homes and beyond, so that the love of our savior would be known in all of India.

Our team verse is Isaiah 61:1 which says, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
