That’s very true David.
Regarding Google Maps I guess you can still download the map beforehand to access it whenever you need it but that implies planning ahead (which I rarely do…) - so yeah, stress.
I went to the exhibition too and absolutely loved it! I enjoyed how it gives the visitors a proper “behind the scenes” access.
From a UX designer point of view I found the work to create video games to be far more similar to ours than what I would expect. And same as you, I was fascinated (among others) by The Last of Us’ storyboard, quite amazing…
