There is a very frightening dimension to all this. By surrendering to the so-called “wellness” industry and influence, we stop listening to ourselves. We stop listening to our bodies aching and to our metabolism crying for help as we, once again, binge on a new revolutionary fat-loss fitness program or a new eating habit that just f*cks up our whole system.

But sensations, emotions and accurately-called “gut feeling” are tremendously helpful in both the recovery phase you are so well talking about and the simple, healthy way to our bodie’s best state. Accepting to restore an open ear on the little warnings of our bodies, as well as the compliments they send us when they feel good, is a fantastic tool and the start of a lot of good things.

Thanks again for having shared your testimony and propagate the message that what we look like should be determined by how good we feel, not what we should conform to.
