Universal Basic Income will Accelerate Innovation by Reducing Our Fear of Failure
Scott Santens

Ludicrous. It is entirely contrary to human nature. People, when all fear is taken away, become lazy assholes. I’ve done it. You’ve done it. We all do it. The idea that basic income will breed innovation is laughable. The only people innovating in that system are the insanely driven. Those people innovate regardless. But you know who innovates in a climate of scarcity? Everyone. Because if they don’t, they die.
