I’m with you brother! What saddens me is all the opportunities we had to change our world as Republicans and blew it. If we would have put our heads down and done the right thing, not the politically correct thing, there would be no Trump nor do I think we would have serious competition from Democrats. But we bow to the religious right that is completely antithetical to Jesus’ teachings, and make moral issues, economic issues. Hell, if a Democrat found a cure for cancer, we Republicans would be forced to immediately reject it as a socialist plot! What’s sad and keeps we away from the Democratic Party is that they would do the same.
