MDL at Chale Wote!
Sun, fun, good music and, most of all, great artists everywhere!
Kumi Sakyi Charles, our MDL ambassador in Ghana, attended the Chale Wote Street Art event and met up with a ton of incredibly talented people.
The event was an amazing spectacle of street artists and talents who were showing their skills to crowds from all over Ghana.
MDL's presence there was through our Ghana Representative, Kumi Sakyi Charles (second from the right on the picture above). Besides promoting MDL Talent Hub, he spent days talking to agency managers, model agencies, managers of stunt cyclists and motor riders, 3 talent managing agencies, media representatives, and a performing arts school. All showed great interest in what MDL Talent Hub is trying to achieve, which confirmed, again, that the MDL Talent Hub solution is sought all over the world!
What was apparent was that especially new agencies were very interested in the MDL Talent Hub services as they were particularly concerned about getting their talents seen across borders but also making sure they were represented fairly and could ensure a transparent way of collaborating with talents. They thought MDL Talent Hub is a great way to achieve that.
All the other time left was spent talking to individual performers, models, and dancers at the festival to hear what they think about the platform like MDL. Kumi Sakyi Charles: "I must say the general impression was amazing."
What the part talents were especially excited about was the fact that they can be in Ghana and one day have access to gigs from all over the world.
Kumi Sakyi Charles also said that MDL Talent Hub brings to mind a young actor named Abraham Attah who was discovered in Ghana by Iddris Elba and was featured in a Hollywood movie. With the platform like MDL Talent Hub anyone with some good talents can be discovered easily.
Kumi Sakyi Charles also focused on gathering contacts of all interested people and agencies and plans on signing them up when the platform is launched as MDL Talent Hub expansion into Africa, according to him, is number one priority on his agenda!
