There is nothing wrong with going to google and doing research, and there is nothing wrong with reading Trump’s books and hearing his own words, either.
Discussing facts is one thing, assassinating someone (Trump’s) character by making generalized attacks is another. I’m not saying the guy is perfect, but I find it interesting that people keep comparing Trump to Hitler. Based on which facts?
I find it fascinating that the comparison is made of Trump when we have already had from (2000–2008 under Bush/Cheney) the most frightening shift in this country, one which would have been unimaginable just 20 years ago.
Listening to George W. Bush’s speech leading into the Iraq war was the most frightening thing I have ever seen. He spoke of a ‘quiet, unyielding anger’ as he prepared our country to invade a country which he knew had done absolutely nothing to us. There were no weapons of mass destruction, and he knew it. Over 500,000, and by some accounts 1 million people have died, plus thousands of our soldiers.
If there is a comparison to Hitler, it is with 9/11 and the Bush/Cheney administration, and the subsequent and immediate suspension of civil liberties to combat ‘terrorists’ who never existed before this event.
Any rigorous research into 9/11 reveals that it is practically impossible for the events to have happened as they were claimed to happen, and that it is almost certain that the Bush/Cheney administration knew these events were going to happen, or even orchestrated them. For what — to seize power, threaten civil liberties, torture people, and perpetuate a never ending ‘War on Terror’ against an enemy which never previously existed, bringing in massive profits for defense contractors while keeping people in a perpetual state of terror in which they felt powerless to act.
Trump was one of the very few to dare to vocally oppose the war just one week after it began, and a team from Bush’s office was sent to threaten him into shutting up, which he didn’t.
In a time when politics is completely controlled by money, the establishment is scared to death by a candidate who is not controlled by special interests, and who is able to take the lead. This is evidenced by the fact that the Republican party is doing everything in it’s power to stop Trump from being elected, though he is clearly the front runner with the majority of the popular vote.
Think about that, why would the Republican party do everything it can stop their own front-runner when he is leading in the polls, and has brought in more Democratic and Independent votes than anyone else, after pledging to support whomever the front-runner is?
Now the violence at Trump’s rallies is troubling to me, yet I have heard that much of it is caused by protesters, who are hired on Craigslist and paid to go and disrupt the event.
So I am not sure what role Trump is playing in the violence at these events vs. what the protesters are doing. Part of it could be the anger that exists in the country, which is being tapped into by the one candidate who has shown willingness to go against the establishment and actually do what he thinks is best for the country.
