So I watched the Olympics on cable…missing all the drama of NBC’s media delivery problems across other platforms. But OMG did NBC stumble when it came to actual commentary. My expectations were low, but when Bob Costas starting talking with Simone Biles and Aly Raisman about their Twitter accounts, I just couldn’t believe how ridiculous it all sounded. I think that if a property like the Olympics is going to be so heavily guarded in terms of access and broadcast rights, the network who wins them had better be on point.
