Is there a way to reverse climate change?
Some people are saying that with the technology we can try to do something others say that it is too late and what has been done has been done, I have to agree with the people that say that it is too late. At this point we have done too much to the earth and have neglected it for so long that what has been done has been but I have to add that we can fix the problem so it will not get worse later, if we think that having hurricanes coming one after another is bad then if we don’t fix the problem were going to see worse.
Because we’re releasing so much CO2 and to stop it all at once or even try to use less of it on a monthly basis is something that cannot be done because despite being told that we’re putting out a lot, everybody country’s PPM number have still been increasing and each month they see no decrease. Even the United States said that we would not pass 400 parts per millions of CO2 in the air before 2020 but we have already passed the point and we are still climbing and seeing no stop. This is where the people that wanted to reverse climate change got it wrong, to stop everything and use technology to try to go back and reverse what has been done to the earth over the yeasr is something that doesn’t seem like would happen in the United States.We need the help of politicians, scientists and the people, without these groups working together we cant do much and that is the state we are in right now the scientists and the politicians don’t get along because the politician doesn’t have time or doesn’t want to do much while the scientist has all the answers and they have steps to try to solve problems like these and the people have been neglecting this problem for a long time and they don’t seem to care now and it seems like they will finally decide to care once something that is affecting them is happening to them directly till then they will continue to neglet it and live their lives like if nothing is going to happen to them.
Like I said in the pervious paragraph we didn’t look out for the milestones we set and said we didn’t want to hit yet we hit them and despite hitting these milestones instead of wanting to stop we continue to grow and scientist don’t even see and end to how much PPM of CO2 because they don’t see the politicians caring enough. Also as a whole the people didn’t care enough to do anything, this is where the people that wanted to reverse climate change got it right, had we worked together we could’ve actually done something and stopped climate change a long time ago but we have choose to neglect it for so long and this is our outcome, and if we continue to live in this negligence then the problem at hand will get worse and if we think that the consequences due to it are bad now they will get even more bad.
We still need to try to stop climate change, just because climate change cannot be fixed and made to disappear doesn’t mean its out of the picture we still have to deal with it the problems that have been happening and will keep happening there’s nothing we can do to stop that. If we do not try to fix this problem then in the future the problem with climate change will only get worse, since we can no longer go back we have to deal with more situations that will happen there will be an increase in temperature, there will be more ice melted which means higher ocean levels and more decaying coasts. We do not want this to happen which is why in these next few years we only need to try to stop the problem, there is no need to want to go back (because we no longer can) but also because trying to stop it will be easier and will result in a future where there will be not more problems.
You could say it is the scientist’s responsibility to take care of problems like this but the scientists can only do so much if the politicians don’t care, so when asking whose job it is to fix this you could say that the politicians could be at fault here. The scientists have been on the look out for this they are the ones saying when it is too late or not to reverse climate change, they are also the ones that are saying that the conditions of climate change may worsen over time but the politicians act like nothing is happening and thus causing the problems that are happening even passing laws like drilling that may worsen the condition of climate change. If only the politicians did something better on there part then the problem due to climate change wouldn’t be as bad.
The people in charge of the United States environmental part of the world are the people I want to do most, I would like them to understand what is happening to the world due to everything that we’ve been putting into the world, if only the politicians made more strict laws to prevent company’s from putting too much CO2 in the atmosphere or from people using too much of something and putting too much CO2 in, if only they were together with the scientists of what should be done with climate change now. If only the politicians, the people and the scientist all worked together then we can finally do something to try to end climate change to try to make some dent into it so that our lives later wont be as bad as it would be as if we neglected it.
