I am jealous of the free-ish pre-k even if what you end up paying amounts to what would be reasonable for full-time daycare.

I am dreading this phase though because I know w. writing / freelancing generally it’s hard to not do math and wonder if you can get everything done by the time ‘school’ is out. 3pm is one thing, though. Noon or whenever it is some preschools let out is absurd.
