Hi Mark! Thank you for sharing your journey. I used to be one of those people that misunderstood people who loved the gym because I dreaded weight lifting (mostly because it looked intimidating). A few months ago I made a really amazing friend who spends 2–3 hours per day at the gym. Not going to lie, my judgemental brain kicked in for a bit but as I got to know him I realized that one of the reasons why he is such a positive, energetic person is because he works out.
