The HCASH foundation is proud to announce the release of its individual swap tool. Users who haven’t upgraded their HSR to HC yet are strongly encouraged to use this tool to convert their tokens.

Important: If your tokens are kept on an exchange, you must first set up a HSR wallet for your respecive system, wait for it to synchronise, then send your HSR tokens to the wallet. From there you can proceed with the swap tool. Instructions for this are at the end of this article.

In order to swap your tokens via the tool, you must complete the following steps:

Step 1: Go to www.h.cash

Step 2: Click on the top left menu button (which will expand the menu) and click ‘Swap HSR to HC’

Step 3: Follow the instructions to proceed with your swap (note: it is advisable to follow the signing message tutorial found below)

Please note: Any HSR tokens mined after the official release date of the HC mainnet (HSR block 938,888) will be deemed invalid and will be unable to be swapped.

The swap tool itself is expected to be active for a period of three months (November-February), thus, to avoid further complications, please swap your tokens now. If you are unable to do this, please contact our team who will be able to accommodate for your circumstances if necessary. The reason behind this decision is that the Foundation wishes to place the maximum amount of its available resources in activities relating to HC.

The swap process may take upwards of 24 hours, depending on the amount of requests. Each swap is confirmed manually to ensure every transaction is valid . We thank you for your patience.

If you have any issues, please email our support team at support@h.cash — from here, someone from the team will reply within 24 hours (on weekdays — AEST).

Instructions for setting up a HSR wallet.

Important: To speed up the process of synchronising, you must add some nodes to the wallet.

For Windows, follow these instructions until, and including step 7, however instead of replacing the content with ‘staking=1’ replace it with the ‘addnode’ list below.

addnode=120.27.213.229:11616 addnode=150.109.73.79:11616 addnode=121.41.74.57:11616 addnode=35.177.31.30:11616 addnode=47.89.242.236:11616 addnode=47.100.175.68:11616 addnode=52.193.215.1:11616 addnode=106.14.3.226:11616 addnode=119.28.177.31:11616 addnode=82.28.52.167:11616 addnode=120.79.141.222:11616 addnode=13.209.166.230:11616 addnode=121.201.24.167:11616 addnode=52.59.144.109:11616 addnode=47.88.173.25:11616

You can now open your wallet, and it will begin syncing.

note: synchronisation can take multiple hours depending on your connection speed.

When synchronisation has completed, you can send your tokens to the HSR wallet, and proceed with the swap tool.

For macOS, follow these instructions until, and including step 14, however instead of replacing the content with ‘staking=1’ replace it with the ‘addnode’ list above.

You can now open your wallet, and it will begin syncing.

note: synchronisation can take multiple hours depending on your connection speed.

When synchronisation has completed, you can send your tokens to the HSR wallet, and proceed with the swap tool.

We appreciate all of our patient supporters, and apologise for the delay in the activation of the tool. We understand that this has caused users some inconvenience, however, we can say that the delay was caused by circumstances relating to third parties, which were out of our control. We are always striving to build and maintain relationships, to ensure efficiency in our operations, and are always improving our processes.
