Did you know that most cases that come to the emergency room are not emergency by nature? Maybe we have all been guilty in contributing to this as well. What’s the reason? Simple enough: lack of accessible healthcare. If you have a primary doctor that you can talk to, you will be going to her first before going to the ER. ER is a burden to the patients as it is more costly than going to the consultation room, ER is also a burden to the medical practitioners especially the nurses, as they are diverted from other departments to tend to the ER patients.
We need more accessible healthcare and more insurance coverage to reduce this ER systemic errors. Our mission at Medico is such, that one of our future product pipeline ensures better accessible healthcare to more Indonesians.
