Between Black and White
Last week was really hectic, a lot of moving and bustling as I went around to get different jobs done and hustling for my Amway business to grow. Having so much to do really set me in motion and made me feel happy that I had so much responsibility and value for the rest of the world. Of course to be able to take on that much work meant that I’d need to make sure my energy levels are up and strong throughout the day and able to keep me up to speed with what’s happening. This becomes really critical as I drive around a whole lot, so I used this as my Energy supplement.

Whilst looking at this can the stark difference between black and white called out to me in a really intriguing way. For some reason, I started thinking about what would happen if u looked closely enough between the black and white lines. That was when this happened.

And if we then go even closer, or zoom in even more, this happens.

The colors blend at particular places to form Greyscale gradients! That’s when it dawned on me, it’s really just a matter of having a depth of understanding on a matter. That everything we look at has gray areas, no matter what it is, and the difference in whether or not we see that gray area, is just a difference of depth of perspective. In fact if we zoom in even more, the pixels will separate into their individual blocks again and then we will be back to black and white. If we zoom that in again, it will once again be made up of pixels smaller than that which would again be grayscale and black and white at different levels of zoom. That gives me the conclusion, that everything we look at has multiple ways to be defined, and the ability of a person to define that is determined by his ability to zoom into the problem.
An example would be looking at a hardworking person, if we look at the surface, we would see a person working at a restaurant to be hardworking. Yet if we look deeper, they may not like the job but they are doing it because of circumstance, making us feel like it isn’t really because they are hardworking. Then if we look at it one layer deeper, we would be looking at it and saying even if they have a choice, whether to let their situation drag them and lament on their life, or to be hardworking and get their responsibility done.
This simple thought experiment provoked me to think, many of our life scenarios are layered just like this too. If we are unhappy with what we see at any given layer, we can always scale up or scale down to look at it at a different layer. We are after all, 3 dimensional beings and do not live on a flat plane. So if you go out there this week and have a hard time dealing with something that has cropped up in your path, remember you have the choice to scale your perspective on things, use it. It may not come naturally now, but it will in time. This is not something new I’m sure. Many self help books and gurus may have better names for it than I do, but hey reminders don’t hurt :)
So get out there and remember you have untapped potential within you :)
