In this guide, we’ll show you the best ways to farm Hero EXP so you can level up your best UR characters faster and have a better chance at defeating Doom Elite world bosses, zombie waves, and other types of monsters in this thrilling mobile game.
How many Hero EXP books do you need anyway?
The quick answer is: plenty! The higher the level, the more books you’ll need. For instance, upgrading a level 68 hero to the next level will cost us 4.5 million Hero EXP, which is a lot!
The best way to get Hero EXP books
There are multiple ways to get Hero EXP in this game, but the most efficient way is by participating in the Zombie Invasion event. Is not clear how often this event happens (if you know, please leave a comment below), so it’s best to take advantage of it whenever it appears.
What happens during the Zombie Invasion Event?
When this event is available, two new types of enemies will appear on the world map: a group of gold digger zombies called Zombie Invaders, and Zombie Bosses, both types having different levels of difficulty.
You will have to search them on the map as they are not included in the map search feature. Additionally, you can get a bonus reward called the Finder’s Reward if you are the first player to find a Zombie Boss during this event in your area, which offers the same amount of Hero EXP books and other items as the base reward.
To collect the rewards, including the Hero EXP books, you must tap the gift box icon visible on the top-left side of your screen, which also displays the number of loot boxes available.
Make sure you have enough stamina points before joining the event, as each battle will consume a certain amount. You can also claim your two daily stamina refills which will give you 50 points each, with a 4-hour cooldown between each refill. So make sure to plan your battles accordingly.
Other ways to farm Hero EXP in Last War: Survival Game
Aside from the Zombie Invasion Event, there are other ways to farm Hero XP such as completing Radar missions, constructing Training Bases, taking part in events, and hunting regular zombies on the world map.
Completing Radar missions
Radar Missions are another excellent method to get Hero EXP, as well as other valuable resources like Battle Data to upgrade your Tactical Drone. If you are new to the game the number of missions and their quality will be limited.
As you complete more missions the map’s level will increase, which will give you better and more missions every day. Compared to hunting zombies, this method is much better, and here I’m referring only to the skull missions, which are the only ones that provide Hero EXP.
Constructing and leveling up Training Base buildings
In Last War: Survival Game, each training base building produces a certain amount of Hero EXP per hour — the higher the level of these buildings is, the more Hero EXP you’ll receive. Upgrading these buildings requires Iron and Food, two of the game’s most demanding resources.
Hunting regular zombies on the World Map
This is the least efficient way to farm Hero EXP, but it’s still worth doing if you have stamina points to spare. Some heroes like Mason or Monica are excellent for these types of PvE battles, and that is what makes them the best SSR heroes in this strategy mobile game.
Regular zombies are great in the early stages of the game but once you reach level 10 and beyond the number of Hero EXP points per battle is quite low and not guaranteed.
For example, a level 10 Ironhead zombie group can drop 8,000 Hero EXP points, while a level 12 group can drop 22,000 points.
