We have often heard about “AI” and “Machine learning model” etc. and we often wonder when will this be part of our field of study and how it will affect our lives and finally it’s making its way into the medical learning field as well. Medulla is at the forefront of changing how medical students get ready for big exams like NEET-PG. We’ve used AI and machine learning in new ways to help students prepare better. A big win for us was getting many NEET-PG 2023 questions right!

The Power of Data and AI

We started by looking closely at NEET-PG exams from 2015 to 2023. This helped us build our predictive models. Our advanced AI analyzed this information, spotting patterns and key subjects, topics, sub-topics, and even micro-topics that often come up in exams. This deep look at past exams helped us predict likely future questions.

Learning from Data

Our AI does more than just look at old questions. It learns from them. It figures out what topics are important, how questions are usually asked, and predicts if they might be asked again. All of this is done with relevant statistical data and with the previous years’ data. This smart learning makes Medulla different.

Validating the Success of Our Predictive Model

At Medulla, we’re on a mission to enhance the precision of our AI predictions for NEET-PG exams. Our journey began with an ambitious goal: to predict the NEET-PG 2024 questions using data from 2015 to 2023. However, since the 2024 exam hasn’t occurred yet, we couldn’t validate these predictions immediately. This led us to a creative approach to test our model’s accuracy.

We first removed the 2023 data and used the remaining data from 2015 to 2022 to predict the questions for the NEET-PG 2023 exam. To check how accurate these predictions were, we compared them with the actual 2023 exam questions. Remarkably, our model showed a 72% accuracy rate. This was a significant indicator of our AI’s capability to foresee exam content accurately.

Encouraged by these results, we took another step in our validation process. We back-tested our model by using data from 2015 to 2021 to predict the NEET-PG 2022 exam questions. Upon comparing these predictions with the actual 2022 exam, we found a 69% match. This consistency in our model’s performance was crucial in confirming its effectiveness.

Based on these back-testing exercises, we observed a trend in our model’s performance. With the inclusion of each additional year’s data, the accuracy of our predictions improved. From 69% accuracy for 2022 predictions to 72% for 2023, we now statistically estimate that with data from 2015 to 2023, our predictions for the NEET-PG 2024 could reach an 80% accuracy rate. This trend not only validates our model’s growing proficiency but also highlights the potential of AI in transforming medical exam preparation.

Looking Ahead: NEET-PG 2024 Predictions

As we turn our attention to the NEET-PG 2024, our objective is clear: to reach an 80% prediction accuracy, translating to correctly forecasting around 160 exam questions. By continuously refining our AI models, we’re focusing our attention towards the most relevant exam topics and trends. This targeted approach not only promises a higher rate of accurate predictions but also equips students with focused, efficient preparation tools, ultimately enhancing their chances of success in this crucial exam.

Our accuracy prediction for NEET PG 2024

For students, this means you can study smarter. Our predictions help you focus on what’s most likely to be in the exam. This means less time on less important stuff and more on what counts.
