Abraham,

Your story of ‘Our short lives are lived between an invisible ‘ACTION’ and ‘CUT’, reminds me of something I recently learned which reminded me that life indeed is short.

The muslim prayer is proceeded by the call to prayer called the “Adhan”. When a person is born, the Adhan is performed and when a person dies, the prayer is performed without the Adhan. It signifies that life is short, the mere moments between the call to prayer and actually sitting down to pray.

May we all remember that our life is short but its legacy is not.
