How I went from “Homeless people are scary” to “I understand why people are experiencing homelessness”

I am constantly trying to find ways to explain to people about the life of a person who is experiencing homelessness.

I just started my third season at the Warming Center, the homeless shelter in Bozeman, MT. A shelter that is 100% funded by the community. Cool huh?
