The peach tree is blooming and the bluebonnets are just about to open. Our bonnets are about 3 weeks ahead of schedule, but this patch is in a protected area… yet the grape hyacinth hasn’t bloomed and it’s about a week or two late. Some iris are blooming, others aren’t. Daffodils are flourishing in some gardens, but late in others. And we were 88 degrees today, not unheard of in February in Texas. Sometimes it snows in March here. So explain that — I prefer to think of it as our typical weird Texas weather.
