A Sortable List of 80 Morning Routines

The internet probably has you convinced that the only thing standing between you and success is joining the 5:00 am club.

It had me convinced too.

I imagined myself joyfully springing from my sheets to turn off an alarm before the sun was up, diving into an intense workout routine, and still having time to cook myself breakfast and read a chapter or two before the workday.

It’s great if that routine works for you. I’m not knocking it.

But for many, it just doesn’t. What’s worse — if you’ve tried it and it didn’t stick, you probably felt like a failure.

Then comes the self-defeating mantras:

“I’ll never get promoted if I don’t get my sh*t together.”

“If could just wake up earlier I’d finally be able to get that side-gig off the ground.”

“I would look so much better if I just wasn’t so lazy about my morning workouts.”

If you’ve said something similar to yourself after trying a morning routine that just didn’t work for you, I’m here to tell you that it’s not you, it’s the routine.

There is no silver bullet. You have to find what works for you, factoring in specific needs like kid-care, long-hair care, pets to feed, or a variety of others.

I’m sure you’re thinking, “sure, but I still also want to know what works for other highly productive people like me.’

When you’re done sorting through this list of 80 morning routines collected from highly productive people across all walks of life, including routines with a variety of different lengths and activities, I guarantee you’ll be inspired to give your morning routine another try.

You can sort through this list using the interactive list, or browse the entire list of 80 routines and their owners’ stories throughout the rest of this article.
