Are you saying that each node splits at least half its airtime switching between at least two orthogonal channels in order to avoid co-channel interference? While that’s certainly better than a third or less of the full speed in the single-channel multi-hop scenario, wouldn’t the more performant (albeit pricier) solution be to use two discrete radios per node to relay the signal simultaneously? Or is your baseband able to tune between the two bands quickly enough that the latency is imperceptible?
