Creating your first skin with Builder

Welcome to MEGASKIN Builder. We are delighted that you have chosen to explore our voxel editor. Allow us to assist you in getting started with this powerful tool.

In this guide, we will guide you through the process of creating your first voxel skin using MEGASKIN Builder. Rest assured, the process is straightforward, and with a basic understanding of the tools provided, you will quickly be able to create a variety of impressive models.

Step 1: Create an account

Before you can start creating a skin, you need to sign in with your Google account and accept the terms and conditions.

You will also be prompted to enter your nickname and contact information (optional).

You will see the welcome screen as shown on the next slide. Select the BUILD NOW button to start the process of creating a new skin.

Step 2: Initial Skin Creation

After logging into your account, you will be prompted to create your own skin or edit a random

In Customize mode you will be prompted to choose the initial skin, which will later serve as the basis for editing. The current creation result will be displayed on the left side of the workspace.

Selecting the EDIT button will take you to the builder editor window, where your skin will be located.

Step 3: Basic Controls

First of all, let’s get acquainted with the basic control keys in the editor.

The F key brings up a palette panel in which the available emissive colors will be presented.
Use the mouse keys to add/remove pixels.
Use the WASD keys to move on the X-axis, and Q and E on the Y-axis.

You will be able to edit parts of the skin such as the Head Body Arms and Legs

Congratulations on reaching this stage of the process! You are now able to utilize the constructor to create your first skin.
