What I mean, Mike Essig, (and I take your point, I do) is that no one should be forced to wear clothing that they feel subjects them to unwanted sexual attention. No one can stop people looking, but, as Doc Holliday has recently pointed out, one can choose to dress in a manner that attracts attention or diverts it.
If people want to run around naked, more power to them. We’d probably all be better off (though often chilly or sunburned).
However, not everyone is comfortable with people looking at their body for whatever reason. (I, for example, have a lot of torso scars I am not comfortable showing to strangers.) This should be respected by our laws, and dress codes are laws. I believe laws should be designed to support human dignity. Call me crazy.
