My waterfall visit experience.

PANCHPULA WATERFALL

So those who read my previous blog would know that I went to Dalhousie last year in December. So our journey started on 26th of the december from ahmedabad and we reached dalhouse at evening. In between we got opportunity to try 'Rabdi' at Abu road railway station and 'Chole-Kulcha' at Jodhpur railwaystatiom and really they were just awesome. I prefer everyone should try and never miss when you are in abu or jodhpur. So we reached at dalhousie on 27th evening and on next day i.e. 28th we were given free day and were allowed to explore the town for sightseeing at dalhousie and nearby areas, so that we would get acclimatized with the weather.

So on that day firstly we stroll and explored different areas such as famous Gandhi chowk and Subhash chowk. We clicked photos, stroll surrounding did shopping and lunch at famous Dalhousie cafe there we ate south indian food such as dhosas and idli-sabhar and one can not miss the street food such as maggie, gulab- jamun for sweet toothed lover and most importantly hot kullad tea.

After that we decided to visit nearby place named Panchpula which is famous for Waterfall. It is approximately 3 km at distance from dalhousie and taxi facilities are sufficiently available to visit these places and if you are in gropu then it would be very reasonable to you on sharing basis. But we decide to visit the fall on our own. But trust me it was an perfect decision and amazing experience, walking on road which covered densely with lustful greenery surrounding by huge pine and deodar trees. The way to panchpula was so silent that when no vehicle is passing by, we can hear the chirping sound of birds from the bushes, flowing water from the stream passing. The view of the narrow twisty road surrounded by the beauty of the nature including the mountains, I didn’t realised when I passed time and reached panchpula. As soon as we reached local shop selling wollen clothes, artifacts and handicrafts by the local artrician are one of the major attraction. Then we moved up towards the waterfall and when we reached the view was jaw droppin. The fresh water falling from the height and falling the stone, rocks and creating the stream and it is one the major source of water for the localites. When water falls, splashes and when that cold water touches you it gives you a heavenly feel. This waterfall us heavily surrounded by the nature and when you see the crystal clear water ghushing down on the rocks it makes you anesthetize. There we played with water splashing it on each other, click few pictures bought some of the handicrafts and returned back to dalhousie.

Really I would suggest everyone to visit panchpula by opting walking if possible. I guarentee it would be just majestic experience for you and this way you get chance to connect and come closest to nature.

GIRA WATERFALL

Another water fall I visited was two years back, which was Gira waterfall situated at Saputara. I was accompanied with my family. It is situated approximately 500 km and five hours ride from ahmedabad and it is nearly 5 km from the waghai.
The waterfall with the greenary surrounded create a marvelous serene which is eye soothing amd relaxing. The speed of water ghusing down and creating fog due to it it really gives refreshing feel.We spent the time enjoying at waterfall by splashing water at each other, taking photographs and really it was a great fun, luckily that day we got chance to see the rainbow formed above the waterfall and really that view was mesmerizing. We also visited Vansda national park which is very near to it. It is basically private area but visited as we had permission. It is famous for leopards, tigers, pythons. We were not lucky enough to spot most of them but we got chance to watch a tiger strolling aorund and other animals such as fox, rabbit, deers and snake. Going through forest area was a thrilling experience. When you reach nearer to the waghai area you will get glimpse of the traditional artwork and handicrafts by the locals residing near by. There are local shops where you can buy this stuffs. Really it is the best place especially in gujarat for oneday picnic with family or friends. This place becomes extremely beautiful when you visit during monsoon and one should must visit. Here I have post my pic from panpula water fall.
