to feel, knowing that that country in which he has sought a place of refuge for his family is filled with enough hatred to secure a Trump presidency? That a man who views them as evil, as less than human, has the power now to make them leave? That people will feel emboldened to act upon their hatred in this new world where intolerance is celebrated? That our democracy is crumbling?

I teared up reading this. This is why we must all stand together in love. I must believe there are people out there not just willing, but wanting, to support and take a chance on K. And I also believe we have a crucial role to play in this. We must demonstrate that the antagonism and hatred that seemingly won on Nov 8th does not represent us or American values.
