The Final Break
Next week is Spring Break and this should give me more time to work on the quilt. I plan to take my sewing machine up with me to Washington State and work on it there. My mentor will actually be up in Oregon, not to far away thankfully. I still just need motivation and be focused on my goals, but it’s hard when there are more fun things going on.
Update: I went to Hancock’s Fabric and found the needles, but there was a problem, there were so many different types and sizes. They had different sizes and then were in packets with additional numbers on them. I didn't know what any of it meant. I left the store and looked through the instructions manual for the machine. Apparently there are different needle type for the material you’re using; how thick it is.
Sorry for the quality, but this is the chart that told me the different sizes.

I found out that my Senior Project presentation will be on April 22, 2015. I am in a group with my fellow classmates who have similar projects; such as embroidery. The very first presentations for that day with start at 6:00 PM and go until we've all presented. I’m nervous, but also excited that the project and the school year is almost done. Now knowing the date of when the quilt should or nearing finishing, helps me schedule when I need to work and how to manage my time.
Until the next post.
