To put the written ideas to an executable plan is always difficult because in every case we have to tackle the challenges that come on our way. According to our predefined plan, we decided to arrange a session for students who are mostly studying in 9th or 10 class, with the theme of career building and ethical counseling. We picked government sector to get appropriate results of our defined goals.

The first challenge that we faced was to convince the principal of Government High Secondary School located in Mugalpura, to allow us to arrange a session for students and teachers collectively. To execute our plan, firstly, we contacted an influential person, who can help us to approach a government school and with his reference, we approach the principal. In the start, the principal was hesitating to allow us for an in-person meeting but then he allowed us to come up for a meeting on a fixed day in the last week. Before going there, we planned our proposal and chunked our work so, in the end, we made a decent proposal which contains the highlights of our session and detailed outcomes that can be beneficial for the school and as a whole how it can affect the community in a long run. After the finalization of the proposal, we reviewed it and prepared for the critical question by seeing the proposal from a different angle.

On the day of the meeting, we presented our proposal and explain the effective outcomes. In the start, he seemed to be unconvinced but when we talked more about how positively this session can affect the mindset of students to work on their ethics and career planning and how it can benefit the school reputation if its teachers are more concerned about the student’s future and their ethical education building, he started taking interest in our proposal and approved our request. After this visit, we have started working on our plan to execute it for a final level as soon as possible. Every person in our group has started his work to make our output unforgettable.

Talking about the outcomes, I am not going to say that our session will change every person’s thinking who is coming to attend but it will make them think about the facts the where they are taking the wrong decisions. How an important step in life can change their life completely?. Our facts will put an impact on teachers to think in a way that they are mentors of a nation. They can change a whole community by their way of guiding.

“A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for others.”

— Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

And I can say that if one or two teachers will think about our concerns and ideas, a lot of student’s lives can be changed because students divert more towards the things that their teachers say to them. While talking about the students, if some of them will act to think about in a way that we want them to understand, our effort will get its fruitful destination because we want our young generation ethically strong and to come out of those stereotypes that only some fields of education are worthwhile. There are a lot of fields where they can go according to their talent that Allah has gifted them.

To think about this plan beyond the boundaries of this assigned project we have learned that after passing from the stage of stereotypes and other problems that prevailed in our society, it’s our duty to guide people when they are doing the things in a way that can affect their lives in a long run. To make our vision an unending chain, we have decided to work on it personally and with the collaboration of our friend circles in future so that we can actually guide the young generation, who is the most precious asset of our nation.
