Lev Landau (Look out: He can bite)

We all know that there are many important, intelligent and beneficial physicists and scientists in the world. Some of them are recognized by the world and recieve their respect from everybody. But some of them not. Today we are going to talk about one of those physicist who, in my opinion, is undervalued.

His name is Lev Davidovich Landau. Landau was a Soviet-Azerbaijani physicist born in Baku. He made so much contributions to many areas of modern theoreticla physics. His accomplishments include the independent co-discovery of the density matrix method in quantum mechanics (alongside John von Neumann), the quantum mechanical theory of diamagnetism, the theory of superfluidity, the theory of second-order phase transitions, the Ginzburg–Landau theory of superconductivity, the theory of Fermi liquids, the explanation of Landau damping in plasma physics, the Landau pole in quantum electrodynamics, the two-component theory of neutrinos, and Landau’s equations for S matrix singularities.

But today I will talk about to you unkown Landau. Away from the formalities and how he is in his own daily life. This man, who came to the world as a genius, spent this talent for the development of world knowledge until his last breath. For Landau, the most important thesis of life is nothing is worse than being disgraced.
