Steve Schlafman Great post! I have a similar experience lately but in a different way. Most advisors / investors miss the fine lines between being an investment banker vs true venture. This is particularly true for a new space where either investors will just invest since its a gold rush or they will find a high MRR company and will completely miss the term of being in the company and growing it together. Reason why its hard replicating silicon valley outside of US.
