This is a fascinating observation. I’ve been diagnosed with IBS, a digestive issue, so I have never been overweight and will struggle to put on weight for the rest of my life — but people always judge me as “fit” and praise me! This cuts both ways — you can’t assume someone has a character deficit if they’re fat, and you can’t assume someone has a character strength if they’re thin. You just don’t know.
