Why we need Hackers.
Are they harmful, and do we really need them?
How many of you have watched 'Steve Jobs : The man who thought differently ‘
Well if you haven’t seen it yet I recommend you do. Because the movie beautifully portrays his whole life into a few minutes. Steve jobs was not a techie, he knew nothing about business. He had no officially legitimate skill. Still today I take his name as one of the greatest personalities of the tech industry.
Steve did not know how to make, nor how to sell; but he knew what to sell. He had the quality to read the public, find the vulnerability, and exploit it. He was a hacker.
A person who is able to find flaws in the system and make it do something unintended : Hacker
With his hacking skills Steve jobs helped us. And so do all those cyber security researchers who find flaws in the system to patch them before the bad guy exploits them.
Does the world really need Hackers? Yes, a lot. Being able to hack means carrying a gun. Be good and you could join the police force or else you may become a terrorist. In the same way there are good Hackers and bad Hackers. Bad ones do bad, and good ones try stopping them.
Our job is to find the best shooter among the crowd, train them and make them stand against the bad guys. We need hackers - good Hackers. And for that instead of doing crack downs on them. We must give the suspects, moral training.
Hackers are always gonna be there. We can’t stop their birth but making sure they are on the right track is our job.
In the coming articles I would highlight the ethics a hacker must follow and then I shall cover some hacking techniques.
So follow me and stay tuned.
