Hi Matty, how awesome of you to respond!

So, if I understand correctly, you are describing an alpha-bot that will operate as a hub for other bots to connect and interact with, based on their specific function — an app (gap bot), within an app (alpha-bot), within an app (messaging app). Very cool, and sounds a bit like Facebook’s M although I haven’t tried it yet.

Personally, the privacy issue in this space is overwhelming to me. It’s not that I don’t trust the machine, it’s that I don’t know what I feel towards it. Giving my personal data to an abstract being is a very hard thing for me to grasp (but I bet my 2 years old twins that talk freely to Siri and ask for songs won’t feel that way…). Yoni Steinmetz mentioned Penny (financial mgmt. conversational app), and I think they are close to nail it. The conversation really made me laugh.

Keep up doing good!
