Satya Nadella & Microsoft 

Was following recode event online and in particular loved/liked the new microsoft aka Satya Nadella seems to be the right guy for the job after a long wait or speculation.

After the event Satya tweeted the following to define more personal computing era which perfectly encapsulated new thinking & direction of Microsoft.

Four characteristics:

People centred, Data fuelled, Balanced monetization, more human

People centred. Apps power experiences across devices. We will not be bound to one app, on one device, in one place

Data is our most precious natural resource. Our task is to refine data into the fuel for more personal experiences

Balanced Monetization. One business model does not fit all. Balance is achieved by putting people at the center

More Human. Technology is at a point where it starts to understand us, becomes more personal — see Skype Translator

Concludes with the following line,

“The most powerful OS in the world is still the human being, that’s what drives us into the more personal computing era”

Wow it’s so good to see a human centred everything of new microsoft , reaffrming my belief that company is in a correct direction under leadership of Satya Nadella
