Our Long Distance Relationship with Food and Why We Need to Shop Local

Thank you so much for this post. What a simple, powerful analogy. Food is no longer food in people’s minds anymore. It is just something we put in our mouthes and tastes good. We need to remember that food is literally fuel for our existence. When I think of food this way, I think of it as a source of energy. And that changes my behavior. I don’t reach for a bag of salty chips, because that won’t make me feel better. Thanks again for helping people hopefully view food differently!
