That’s a very interesting thought! I don’t know whether their partners’ college information was given to the participants prior to the date or not. But it’s highly possible that they shared this information during the first date and people associated the reputation of their schools with the level of intelligence. It leads to another interesting assumption that people share similar perception/judgement of the schools. It would also make sense for career field.
