Women Are Quitting Dating Because Of Situationships
I keep seeing stories of women who give up, because they never experienced a relationship at all.
Women stop dealing with men after a traumatic event. They stop dating when it doesn’t warrant a desired outcome over an extended period of time. I’m seeing more and more examples of women opting out of the dating scene altogether. In most instances, this happens when they haven’t even experienced a relationship at all. Mae-sa Dixon wrote an opinion piece for The New York Times 3 years ago. At the time of the article, she said she’s been celibate for 7 years. Dixon was 35 at the time the article was published:
She says she never had a relationship per say, but was involved in two longterm friends with benefits. One for 7 years and one for 10 years. When I read that, I was shocked. This is far too long to be in a not-relationship with someone. This tells me 2 things:
