People Are Questioning Whether Hannah Baker Even Had A Mental Illness
Carly Cassella

We live in different times and kids go thru things that us as parents never did. Social bullying is another level of pain and embarrassment that we don’t know about. The show is explicit and real and we need to discuss it with our kids. Call me bad mom because my 11 year old watched it with me, but at least she now has an idea of what could happen and things she can do to defend and protect herself. I am glad it was made and I can understand the concern, but that is not the point. The point is to talk about suicide and have a dialogue around mental illness.
