The new norm of the West.
I don’t see any stars tonight. I’m not surprised. I didn’t see the sun earlier today. I haven’t seen the mountains and the blue sky no longer exists.
The smoke has been so heavy. Breathing hurts. Eyes sting. Everything stinks. I wonder how we are all managing to breathe. Or, better yet, what are we breathing?
The flowers all have died. I haven’t heard a bird sing in days. The bees are simply gone. Evidently they too needed more than gas, water vapor, carbons dioxide and monoxide and nitrogen oxide to breathe as well.
