Prayer

Breathing, or so it seems.

Waking. Moving. Doing.

Needing but not seeking.

Fearful of losing.

It’s too heavy This will destroy you.

Waiting for answers

To questions un-asked.

Crippled by wonder

Of unknown paths.

Halted. Broken.

Weak at the knees.

Held back from progressing

In a constant freeze.

The load weighs heavy. You will remain underneath.

Trudging through masses.

Daylight passes.

Movements slow.

Constant impasses.

Where have you gone?

Your words I am seeking.

This soul you have filled

Is cracked and leaking.

To my knees i keep falling

Your great name i keep calling

My God please come near.

My life, it keeps stalling

This burden is heavy. Your God is not here.

Be real. Be present. Be loud.
