You can help too!

We can either sit back and complain or we can get up a make a difference. My 9 year old niece, Payton, wants to make a difference. This last week has been nothing but heart breaking. So, what does Payton do? She get’s a fire in her belly and decides that she must do something.

For a small town in Texas, you might think, well what does she plan to do to make a difference… Here’s her plan:

On July 16, 2016 she is having a lemonade stand and bake sale. She has a goal and wants to get word out that she needs your help. She wants to raise 5K to help the families of the fallen officers from Dallas PD. We, as her family, want to help her see that COMMUNITY and the LOVE for one another prevails. We want to let her “Little Light Shine” so that all those that are struggling can see a glimmer of HOPE.

We are looking for a few donations that can help make this even more successful. We have the amazing towns people stepping up and donating baked good. We are searching for businesses that would match funds raised during the sale in hour increments. We want to get as many people to come to Glen Rose as possible. We need blue ribbon donations. We want to wrap our country with love and let blue ribbons be seen as a hug from her.
