100hkd and under in Central
Green Waffle Diner.
We tend to avoid central, but when we are in the neighborhood, we come here on the weekends for brunch— on a leisurely saturday afternoon wait, it looks like a lot of other couples do too.
The restaurant has great old fashioned diner booths where you can sit and relax with a couple of friends over a cup of coffee.
The menu is quite large, but we always enjoy the perfectly cooked skillets—1.) country brunch ( mushroom, bacon, cheese green pepper) 2.) spicy sausage and tomato 3.) steak and egg, 4.)meat lovers, all for under 100hkd. Served in a skillet with home fries and 2 perfectly poached eggs which, when broken and swirled around with the rest of the ingredients act as a perfect sauce.
We usually finish with a shared waffle topped with whip cream and sugar for dessert.
