Ah Chun Shangdong Dumpling 阿純山東餃子 60 Lai Chi Kok road.
Last weekend we met a friend that took us around Ho Man Tin. Before heading there, we decided to try a local Shangdong Dumpling place. I don’t know much about Shangdong food, but our friend told us they are famous for using lamb.
The dumplings are made fresh here, and we tried a variety of fried lamb dumplings and boiled pork and watercress dumplings. We also ordered a:炸酱面 or literally “fried sauce noodles.” This consists of whole wheat noodles usually made fresh and mixed with cucumber, bean paste, and pork. This Shangdong version seemed to use lamb instead of pork and it was delicious.
Washed it all down with cold soy milk.
