100hkd and under In Wanchai. Sawali Club
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in HK outside of Kowloon city. Technically, it’s a zany Thai private kitchen run by super fun loving Thai people that put on an electric laser singing dance show when it’s your bday.
Beyond that, the food is excellent and cheap. The menu is multifarious, including things which you can order off the menu. But our favorites include:
Famous Thai roast chicken
Tom yum soup
Fried curry with fresh clams
Simple stir fried greens
Pork neck ( grilled)
Fresh crab ( order in advance) in fried curry sauce.
No corkage.
Just had dinner at the FCC, got reminded of a brunch we had there courtesy of your membership!
