Oh…so true! It seems everyone is running hackathons and disrupt0-weeks nowadays. But as you said, innovation (like any other traits) is only a reflection of the organisation’s culture. On that note, I reckon you should also take this one step further, and look at the leaders, because their actions are fundamental to how people perceive the company’s culture. Not the number of times they asked people to be innovative, but the way they incorporate innovation into their own lives.
