Very insightful. I agree with you that how you treat people is more important than what brand of watch you’re wearing or the bigshots whose names you can drop into a conversation. I admire the entrepreneurial spirit, but I am fed up with people flaunting their wealth or contacts.

That part about dismissing others’ praise? I am quite guilty of that. Call it an effect of growing up in Catholic surroundings. Your pointing out how this is not a sign of true humility but a sign of a lack of confidence may accelerate my journey towards a healthy but still humble self-confidence.
