Conservatives understand consent just fine when the issue is “should I choose to pay for someone else’s meal or should the government tax me to do it?” They elect people who make tax laws, but somehow think they are being mugged.

All I’m saying is they understand consent just fine when it’s about them, which leads me to believe they understand consent in general; they are just lying about it.
